New 2021 students are required to complete their orientation in the program they are enrolled in. Before COVID, students complete "orientation" at the "delivery school" in November. This year students must complete their "orientation" online on this page.

Videos have been developed by the trainers for each program.  You will be required to watch the video for the course you are enrolled in 2021. The video will introduce you to your teacher/trainer, who will explain or summarise what you will learn, a tour of your classroom or workshop, class times, student expectations, pathways information, and what next.

You can view the video (excluding Plumbing) you are enrolled in below. The following videos are ready for viewing: Allied Health; Applied Fashion; Automotive; Beauty; Building & Construction; Community Services; Early Childhood Education & Care; Electrotechnology; Engineering; Horticulture; Music Industry; Salon Assistant (Hairdressing); and Sport & Recreation.

As part of your orientation (including Plumbing), you need to read or download the flyer for your program on the "OUR PROGRAMS" page showing career and pathways information. The "WEC HANDBOOK 2021" outlines "Course Requirements" on pages 10-11; "Course Summary" on pages 12-25; and the "Student Behaviour Guidelines" on page 26.

Students enrolled in AGA's Building & Construction are to download the AGA Flyer. Video is not currently available.

Future Connect has developed a video series with industry.  Listen to interviews with people who work in a range of different industries. Learn about their career pathways and what they enjoy about their jobs.

WEC Uniform is compulsory for all VET Students (excluding Music). Depending on your course you will be required to wear the Hi-Viz or Blue/Black polo shirt and polo fleece top depending on the program you are enrolled in. The cost of one (1) Polo Shirt and one (1) Polar Fleece Top is included in Year 1 VET fees. At your first class, the VET trainer will outline what other personal protective clothing and equipment you will need to purchase.
